Aspace Renovations
Submitted by Ender on Sun, 2004-01-11 15:19.
Working with the people over at Star Trek: A New Age, we're adding little bits and peices to ASpace. I've upped the version number to 1.1.1, since its capable of running on p26 and above (The attribute problems are no more.)
I'm also adding channel reporting of events such as ship disablement and destruction.
Others are adding MySQL support, and something called JoseyEcon.
I think this place will work out, at least wiz-code wise. I wait to see what else I can do.
Thankfully, the people at M*U*S*H can translate my rantings into usable questions.

Cool, i myself have done lots
Cool, i myself have done lots to aspace, finally got it working with pl26, caused several problems but eventually fixed thanks to help from Raveness and Rage, i like the idea of putting the messages over a channel, but would this channel be an Admin only channel, and also, what would happen if the channels either disappeared, or someone accidentally deleted it, or it never existed?, you would need a way to make sure that if the channel suddenly didn't exist anymore the server wouldn't worry, so that it didn't crash.

p26 version
Ray do you still have the version that Rage and I worked on with you? Contact me and let me know. There were some mods I wanted to make to the souce, but I ended up erasing the clean one I did during a reformat forced by a virus.
