Universitas Magis - MUSH in development (Process)

Some process has been made. I've been getting people to log in and just the game by its theme and rules. So far, I've gotten good responses, and somewhat surprisingly to me, quite some /interest/ as well as questions on when it will start.
Truly, it is a pleasant surprise that something I have so far worked on almost exclusively by myself can be this 'popular'. Sure, I am not getting people logging in like idiots or anything. But then, why would they? There is no advertisement for this place!
So now what? Well, I've been getting some input. From some who claim that, especially for the first phase, it may be best to drop the FUDGE system and see how it goes using free-form roleplay. It would speed up the progress on the game majorly, as well as give me less trouble since I honestly am biting more than I can handle with FUDGE, seeing as I have so little experience with it.
In addition to that, I at first aimed for this game to be a free-form game. I just have somewhat bad of an experience with people understanding what their limits are, and power-posing a lot. Admittedly, I too have that problem at times, although it is something that is being worked on.
In other news... I was told that my +advertisement file was good, even though big. So I am going to put it up here. I'll take any kind of criticism really, positive or negative, spelling or grammar. Just as long as it makes sense, and remains actual criticism. ('This ad sucks' is not criticism).
+---------------------------< Universitas Magis >----------------------------+ | Throughout legends and written within history, the very prophets warned | | of a great ending to come. They were, in fact, wrong. It was far worse | | than anyone could imagine. | | | | The world has been all but destroyed. | | | | What remains are small pieces of land, floating within the scarred and | | troubled skies. It defies all manner of description. Surely, an | | abomination to nature has occurred - something must be done. This must | | not, cannot, continue. The threads of fate have begun to be spun. Beings, | | beyond dimensional boundries, beyond space, are ensnared to this world, | | drawn in like moths to the still burning fires. | | | | These latent heroes find themselves upon Freyja's island 'Vanaheimr', | | home to Vanaheimr City and the university of magic. Many a thing is amiss | | on this island: the cursed glass forest of Niflheim, strange going-ons | | within the city itself, the unexplained quakes, and the gigantic, but | | stagnant, tornado many miles from the island. It is up to the fated | | heroes to explore this island's secrets, and to discover ways to set that | | which went so horribly wrong, right again. | | | | >========================================================================< | | | | Universitas Magis aims to bring an air of originality to middleverse | | games out there as well as constantly featuring tinyplots and events to | | keep its players busy on a season-by-season basis. It features | | customized, and customizable, code as well as a Fudge based system in | | order to support roleplay on its unique grid. | | | | Although influenced slightly by Norse legends, it breaks away from the | | original stories - nothing is as it should be. It has to-the-point | | themefiles, and the staff tries to keep a write-up of what goes on from | | season to season so new players are not left hanging. Join the | | Universitas Magis as a student, or find a different task within the walls | | of Vanaheimr. It is all up to you. | | | | Visit us, explore, save the world! | | | | Website: twilightdays.org | | Telnet: twilightdays.org on Port: 2060 | +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
