CyberMUSH
CyberMUSH is now accepting applications for administrative positions from anyone interested in helping a cyberpunk-themed MUSH go live - softcode, hardcode, hosting, you name it. If interested, contact misfit815@yahoo.com.
On a similar note, I don't know of a single cyberpunk-themed MUSH already out there. If you're connected to one, let's get together and talk.

Cyberpunk MUSH? Quirk? You
Cyberpunk MUSH? Quirk? You don't say?
Wha?
I'm not following you... please elaborate.
Sorry about that. I was
Sorry about that. I was expressing interest in your idea. I've not heard of any cyberpunk MUSHes (except ShadowrunMU*s, but that's cross-genre), plenty of MUDs. I know a fairly decent coder, and I'm a decent builder.
Is it cyberpunk based on a theme like Cyberpunk 2020, or is it more of your own concept and storyline?
Awesome!
As I responded to Javelin, they seem to be out there, but not out there. Either they're Shadowrun-based (and nothing against it, but it's not my bag), or dead or (in the case of EdenMUSH) a little too focused.
It is very much based on CP2020. If you look at the one static page I have, you'll see that I've come up with a back-story to explain the difference between the CP2020 world and ours, but that's all it is at this point - a back-story.
This isn't a MUSH centered around a single storyline. I'm building it with the intent of it being to the cyberpunk theme what ATS is to Star Trek. I realize that's big shoes to fill, but I'm simply developing the type of game that I would play. As for CP2020, I think (not including Cybergeneration and the later stuff) it is acceptable material, both in terms of content and mechanics, for that goal, so it's what I'm using.
And if you're interested in coding or building or whatever, contact me. All I ask for is interest in and adherence to the theme. Beyond that, I'm sure we can work something out.

Other cyberpunk mushes
EdenMUSH comes to mind (http://edenmush.a.wiki-site.com/index.php/Main_Page) and a search on google for "cyberpunk mush" turns up several others.
thanks
Good point. When I started this almost a year ago, all of the existing ones that I tried were dead links. I'll have to go through them again. At first glance, several are Shadowrun-based, and I never understood the appeal of that. Mixing fantasy elements with cyberpunk just seems dumb to me.
EdenMUSH looks good, but I'll bet I originally ruled it out as too limited in setting. I can see the appeal of concentrating the game on a single space station, but that's not what I was looking for.
Thanks for the tips, though.
Cyberpunk Iconoclast
I quite prefer Iconoclast to just about everything I have seen out there lately. It may be old but it is worth checking out. Too many Shadowrun-based and SWR thingies, they start blurring together in my head.
Try Iconoclast! It hasn't died yet!
