I am...
Submitted by sad hack on Mon, 2010-01-25 11:47I'm sure there will be much rejoicing over this announcement. Likewise, there will be some politically correct acknowledgments that it is my right to do as I choose with what is mine. So on, and so forth. I doubt that there will be any voices crying out 'WTF?! Why?! Don't do this!' for fear of public mockery (of the kind I have recently endured).
There's a saying "You can't take it with you.".

It is, but it isn't.
Submitted by sad hack on Tue, 2010-01-12 09:40Judgment Day is basically "now" (it's always now). The Court of Public Opinion is always in session. And, there's always someone willing to appeal their case there. (leverage their reputation, risk humiliation, flail in desperation, whatever)
This may or may not be helpful.

The Game
Submitted by sad hack on Fri, 2010-01-01 22:11By reading this blog entry, you have temporarily given me control of your mind.
By continuing to read this post you agree to pay me $1,000,000.00.
I may have lost The Game, but I did it with STYLE.

mobility - 1st post
Submitted by sad hack on Sat, 2009-10-24 12:29I know I'm not the first person to use a wireless handheld device to post something to the web; but I'm hoping I'm the first to post to this website from such a device.
If not, it's still MY first mobility post!

MU42
Submitted by sad hack on Wed, 2009-05-13 13:15What is the answer to the question of life the universe and everything... in MU?
Are social movements (the linux community, for example) collectives which could be described as "forms of life"? What, then, about the MU* community? Does this loose-knit band of hodge-podge-kins constitute a social movement; does this social entity have a life of its own? ...is it a separate being which is greater than the sum of its parts?
In this MU-niverse, what is 42?
And, by the way... has anyone seen Waldo?
Comments encouraged...

* If you have direct, first-hand experience with some concept herein and are both legally allowed to and have the desire to share it here, I encourage you to do so.
