It is the end of 1981. Harry Potter has been murdered, and the Boy Who Lived never made it into the history books. In a battle that threatened to tear out the foundations of the Ministry itself, few survivors were left on either side. Voldemort retreated into the shadows. Some say forever, and continue to live their lives normally. Some say only for now, and clutch to the vestiges of the old order. Some forge new alliances, some fight, and many will die. Yet, there has never been a time where Voldemort was more paranoid about his own mortality. As muggles, wizards, and creatures alike are lulled in a false sense of security, where will your loyalties lie?

We're looking for players who want to explore an Alternate Universe without losing sight of canon. Dissendium seeks to enrich gameplay by embracing the world of Great Britain, outside the sheltered walls of Hogwarts, as its sole focus.
