Akashat, the city of dreams. A nexus point for the collective subconscious of all humanity, indeed, of perhaps even worlds yet explored. It is here one may find the most powerful of dreamers, those taken from their former lives, remade in an often stylized image of themselves, and trapped within the city.

The city moves, floating from one end of an expansive desert to the other, never twice at the same place, never truly more then ethereal. Dreams are the only way to access the city and those who first began to find themselves here soon organized a caste system. The three classes, the Nobles, who rule, the Citizens, who usually run businesses, and the slaves, used and abused, who are cared for and pampered by the other two classes.

Created from the very essence, the very souls of each trapped dreamer, the City dreamed into being two rulers for itself. Taking their names from the mythical fae of legend, Titania and Oberon control access to the outside minds of the slumbering. With the aid of the Asrag Reejal, they control access to the true world's dreams and harvesting whatever they could find within them, be it riches, goods or souls. The Royal Couple now rules over Akashat, aided by a Triumvirat comprising the Emir, the Crimson Cardinal and the Margrave. To help (or hinder) the Triumvirat, a House of Lords sits under the watchful eye of the Speaker of the House.

Harry Potter: Alere Flammas is a roleplaying MUSH set at Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and wizarding London. We picked up where Goblet of Fire left off and have continued from there. It's now 2007 (Harry and company left Hogwarts a few years ago). We have many characters open for application, including FCs from the books and original characters. Our Quidditch games are run by a GM with random rolls based on a loose stat system. We allow students, young children, teachers, adults in a wide variety of other professions, ghosts, house elves, portraits, and more.

We've been open since December 2001 and have been active since. We have great quality roleplayers, both experienced and new, and we're also very welcoming to newbies willing to learn.

The printing press has yet to be invented. Majority of the population is illiterate. Travel is by foot, horse, ship and carriage. Weapons are traditional medieval, being swords,daggers, bow and the such. Feudal system (Nobles,commoners) is the political and social structure.

The Story
The known world is comprised of many lands and peoples, including but not limited to: the Polar Regions, the Plains, Garragg, Keranna and Liosliath.One thousand years ago, the medieval world of Anwethia was almost destroyed by the misuse of powerful elemental magics. The wisest of these mages came
together to save this world and they formed what would be known as the Guardians. Under their guardianship, gateways to other worlds were discovered. From the guardians, the best called Ley Riders were chosen to guard these gateways.
At this time in Anwethias history there is no dominating power, a void that cannot last. A void that the others are jostling to fill. The Plains tribes war with Garragg at its northern borders. Liosliath in the southeast area of the continent has freed itself from its conquerors and seeking to
rebuild itself. Liosliath is ambitious and maneuvering to be that power. But first it must rebuild itself while facing dangerous challenges such as rogue mages, pirates, coastal and border raiders, politics and infighting, natural disasters add their destabilizing presence. The port city of Carraig is just re-establishing itself as a trading crossroads.

Welcome to Anwethia.
Where we ROLE Play and not ROLL Play. No sheet, no skills/stats. Anwethia is Creativity, the inspiration to craft stories that will grow as the individual characters and Anwethia grows. Beleriand is a world for roleplaying based on The Silmarillion and The Lays of Beleriand by J.R.R. Tolkien. It was founded in 1995 by players from Elendor, with the goal of creating a similar game for the First Age. Ever since then, Beleriand has been the premier site on the Net dedicated to the First Age. A highly social environment, with dozens of bulletin boards and chat channels, Beleriand is nevertheless primarily known for quality interactive roleplaying.

New players may choose from Men, Dwarves, Orcs, and three races of Elves. Werewolves, Great Eagles, Balrogs, and others are available to experienced players. Most players belong to one of eight different cultures which are based in different areas of Beleriand.

The world is entirely laid out into 2800 beautifully described rooms. Great attention to accuracy in recreating the world of Tolkien's books has been paid in every aspect of the MUSH. Beleriand features a full-featured combat system based on stats and training; diverse weather; languages; mail; and lots of other informational and helpful global and local code.

The players and staff of Beleriand are very friendly and knowledgeable, and always eager to help those who are new to MUSHes or Tolkien's world or both. Our players come from all hemispheres and time zones, but mainly North America, Europe, and Australia.

DCU: Legacies of Justice is a RP MUSH set in DC Comic's Gotham City, Bludhaven and NYC. Opening just after the events of Batman: Fugitive, Bruce Wayne has been cleared of murder charges and has returned to his normal life by day and by night. We are a consentual Roleplay enviroment focusing on the day to day life of the residents of Gotham City, Bludhaven and NYC. Houses, the Duchies of the country's seven provinces and the minor Houses
constantly circling like sharks, waiting for blood in the water so they can
make their move. And hanging over the squabblings of the country are Terre
d'Ange's neighbours, who look to the d'Angelines with a mix of envy and
resentment. The tools of political power are many and varied; personal
influence, the energy to deal with many people, the rumor mill, loyalty,
even the use of one's own body as a weapon to gather intelligence - the
Royal Court is always rife with plots within plots.

Our game, in specific, is high political intrigue mixed with large, arcing
plots and stories. It's set 150 years after the end of the Kushiel's Legacy
series. Things have changed somewhat - the Skaldi have become slightly more
civilized, the Caerdicci have become more xenophobic, and there's a brewing
war between the Hazaran (Mongols) and the Hanzu (Chinese) that is reaching
its culmination in the West. The last of the Courcel line has died out with
whispers of scandal attached, and a new royal family reigns to continue the
tradition of monarchy. Yet doubt and scandal cling to this court as thickly
as they do any, and new connections with the outside world leave the future
of the country uncertain.

The choices of characters range from high ranking nobles to scheming
politicians, from seductive courtesans to wily spies, charming shopkeepers,
devious criminals, playful gypsies, loyal Cassilines, fanatical priests,
brave soldiers...stretch the limits of your imagination. Character
generation is simple, and feature characters are still available for the
ambitious!

What more could you want in a game? Intrigue, NPCs, a well-described grid,
friendly and experienced staff members, a brand new world to play in,
change, and integrate yourself with, a rich and detailed setting, political
intrigue, backstabbery, fetes and coronations, masques and balls,
assasinations and invasions... The potential is infinite. With larger staff
run story arcs and smaller scale player run plots running constantly, there
is never a shortage of things to get involved in!

The setting of Marvel Genesis is modern-day Earth, with New York City as a primary location. As in, the here and now. Pop-culture is the same, as are world economics and natural events. Past wars have all occurred and the Iraq situation is on-going. The only deviation is the fact that the science in Marvel Genesis is slightly more advanced in both physics and genetics.

No Ka Oi Rhost game is based on a 600 year old fishing village. The premise of the theme is based on a 'Legendary Hawaiian' setting that is considered to be in the past, as the village is represented being in modern times. I say 'Legendary Hawaiian' In regards that it is indeed fiction as legendary China is to the opera Turandot. Though there are some facts given here on the game, It doesn't do justice what the real facts are about Hawaii as this is just a fictional representation. This game was done more to provide players with a fun environment to play at. It's also more of a social theme than a RP one. I hope that it inspires players to go find out what the real facts are about Hawaii, and the Hawaiians.

Novo Upanje - a foreign term for New Hope - is a New World of Darkness set in the fictional city of San Arden, California. San Arden is a city of about 2.3 million people, set not too far from Los Angeles.. and it is a city with some problems. A recent plague has wiped out all the cities supernatural denizens - as far as anyone can tell - and then completely vanished. Naturally, this has left a power vacuum, and if there's anything supernatural beings are good at, it's seizing opportunities for power.

Novo Upanje, the MUX, is designed upon three core principles - honesty, fairness, and politeness. It is focused upon the players and the staff working together to create stories.

A brief overview of the Outlaws Theme`Outlaws of the Old West is set in the southwest united states during the golden age of the western frontier. The starting date is January 1st, 1877 and while time advances on the MUSH we will always be frozen in that general time frame, ie: technology won't generally advance. The idea behind Outlaws is a good mixture or middle ground between the flashy hollywood spaghetti western and the historic old west. The theme focuses on a small number of towns in the southwestern united states and the boarder in Mexico. The first area in which Outlaws will focus will be Rotwood, New Mexico and the surrounding frontier.

Project Carthage rises from the ashes of the once known 'LyokoMUSH' which had focused on the Code Lyoko universe. Project Carthage continues to follow the CL universe but returns to it's roots and focuses on a more canon, kadic-focused storyline while continuing to give players plenty of freedom and involvement with the larger selection of plots. Feature characters have been opened sans-restrictions for players to take up as they please and any draconian administration tactics have been quelled.

We welcome players to join up and create any character they wish or, if desired, they can take up one of the open feature characters.
Kadic and the surrounding town and other linked cities are fully open for you to enjoy your stay and roleplay comfortably in any environment.

We have also engineered PC to be comfortable for even someone not familiar with the theme to come on and interact and roleplay freely, giving them the chance to learn as they continue to roleplay and interact with fellow players.

Shoujo-Ai MUSH takes place on the remote island of Yuriba, an isolated island in the Pacific, some distance from Japan. There is only one Yuriba for all worlds, and it is possible for people from many, many different realities to arrive here. Away from industrial society, the old magics still roam freely here, and high technology is almost unknown.

Yuriba has the unusual attribute of having an entirely female ecosystem; people, animals, and plants all. Those who visit almost always fall into this mold as well, implying that the island itself selects those who enter it.

Star Trek: Foundations is a Star Trek-themed MUSH which takes place a few years after the Enterprise TV show. However, after 2154, we follow an original timeline.

The year is 2163, and the galaxy is in turmoil. Many talks have been initiated by various empires to discuss the need for an alliance of major powers. The Terran Confederation is trying to prove itself to larger, more-established empires like the proud Andorian Imperium or the stoic Vulcan Federation. The warrior Klingon Empire shows little mercy to those foolish enough to stand in the way of the Empire's goals, and the secretive Romulans watch all from th e safety of cloaked vessels. Other, independent worlds are in the middle of it all, some trying to make a profit while others side with larger empires or conduct illegal business.

Will you play a part in forming an alliance of governments? Will you command a raiding party of pirates? Will you lay siege to a weaker empire, or will you foster the bonds of peace? All of these options are available to you here.

'STAR WARS: Dark Horizons' is a new MUSH which takes as its canon Episodes IV, V and VI of the series of movies. Episodes I, II and III as well as the Extended Universe may offer inspiration, but they are not canon sources. The game has a complete combat system that is integrated fully with the IC economy. Weapons, armor, clothing, ships as well as ship weaponry must all be purchased. Role play is a must to gain levels and +escapes for getting out of tight spots.

Q: "So what makes this place different?"

A: The thorough code system encourages immersion. In the complete IC economy, one earns money through investing or through IC transactions. With those funds, one may purchase a ship, personal armor, or a blaster. One may hire armies or buy ground vehicles. One may even vie for control of Republic and non-Republic worlds. A robust combat system includes player-to-player, player-to-army, and ship-to-ground, etc combat. In this version of a galaxy far, far away, there are many ways to prosper and just as many ways to die.

Q: "But what's the theme? It's pre-Clone Wars?"

A: Unlike a lot of games around, 'SW:DH' takes as its only canon the original trilogy as they were first released. The prequels are not recognized as canon, though certain parts of them are inspiration.

Q: "So George's vision is just cut off, just like that?"

A: That's right. Remember back before 'The Phantom Menace' came out when we all thought about what it must have been like in the then unknown early episodes. The talk about what Ben meant by a certain point of view, the conjecture about Leia's mom and how the Emperor seduced Vader? Building off twenty-odd years of personal thought on the subject, the designers of 'SW:DH' have brought out their vision of the galaxy from the early eighties after 'Return of the Jedi' came out, a galaxy with a 'used future' without talk about vergences in the Force or those wacky Midi-chlorians. It's a galaxy that lived in our imaginations and continues to live on at 'STAR WARS: Dark Horizons'.

So come find a galaxy far, far away and rediscover it again like you did the first time a long time ago!

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Episode I: DARKNESS RISING

The galaxy was in celebration. The Mandalorians, who terrorized the Republic with a war that killed millions, were defeated by a Republic force led by the Jedi Knights Revan and Malak.

The Jedi council's public support is at an all-time low, for it was the council that refused to join the war, causing many Jedi to join Revan and Malak. In the wake of the war, Jedi Knights Revan and Malak refused to return to face reprimands, and the Jedi that followed them disappeared.

Meanwhile, in the Outer Rim, rumours of a new darkness have been reported. Ships disappear and a strange, unidentified fleet has been seen, making everybody wonder how safe they really are...until now.

The Galaxy is now faced with an evil that has not been seen in over three decades, since Exar Kun was defeated. Revan and Malak have returned, with a vast fleet of ships at their disposal. No one knows how they came to such a large fleet, not even the Jedi council, but what is certain is that this new war can not be waited out.

Once more, the Jedi Knights and the Republic have joined forces to try and take the Sith Empire head on.
