The PennMUSH team is happy to announce the release of 1.8.3p4, the latest release in the development version.
This release focuses on bug fixes (including a fix for one major issue that any player could use to freeze a game) and internal changes. Upgrading is highly recommended.

The README has information on which versions of the files to use.
Notable user-visible changes:
The KEEPALIVE flag from TinyMUX. When set on players using a telnet-aware client, the mush sends text that doesn't show up in the client every few minutes of idleness, as another option to get around defective home routers with short inactivity timeouts.
@chatformat, a way to customize the appearance of channels on a per-player basis.
